Description

Hi, You have not seen this before, never had the chance to show it before life went pants.. These are The Classic Formation Team, Europes only formation Multi engined classic aircraft formation team! They made their Legends debut in 2016, luckily the photos were left on the memorey card so moved them back onto external drive and started photo shopping them now. Based in Switzerland, flown by ex-air force or Swiss Air pilots, vast amounts of in air hours between them.. And they did fly as close as this looked.. The DC-3 was built during the war in Long Beach, has been around including owned by Air Atlantique.. Both the Beech 18's were built for the Royal Canadian Air Force in the early 50's, (one won Best Beech at Oshkosh). More hopefully from these.,. Legends news hopefully.. As the Red Arrows are boked for Sunday (really), and the Thunderbirds are in the U.K. for RIAT, I'm hoping.. Well, they had a Raptor last year.. Rob

Echelon right, not a Vic or a finger four, -- too close for airdrop? yet comfortable in a cloud. I have never seen a Long Beach DC-3 or C-47 before. Santa Monica built most of them and Long Beach built B-17's. Except maybe after the war and commercial was taking over the facilities. The logbook is the reference. I didn't show up until April 1965.

Oh, this formation looks good and tight. Excellent pic. Don't think I've seen multi-engine formation flying...except in movies from WWII.
