Story / Description :
The story continues from the last render....
Miho had exceptional hearing and what she told me and the wolf was that the helicopter had encountered some malfunction and they had been forced to land. Thankfully they had not noticed us but we now had to wait this out. They would either send mechanics down or drop ropes from the top of the hill to pull the pilot and lookout up. They actually dropped ropes to pull the two of them up and that was a blessing. It meant we did not have to wait there for long. Who knows how long the mechanics would have taken to repair the helicopter and we might have been stuck in our hiding place for the rest of the day. But this incident also meant there were more mercenaries out on the hill top. So once the two had been pulled up, we wait for another hour for things and routines to normalize before Miho attempted to go up the final sheer cliff wall.
The hour slowly passed by and Miho utilized that time to refine the viruses she had planted on their systems which would disable all their communication and locks the moment anyone pressed the alarm button which they were bound to do once we disabled their camera feed of the area surrounding the cave entrance to the lab. This we were going to do once Miho had reached the top of the hill. During the satellite surveillance of this place we had found they had a total of around 50 mercenaries guarding this lab. 15 of them were outside doing rounds of 1 hour each. Of the 35 inside, some were posted as guards around the lab while the rest rested and waited for their shift to start. We had hacked into their camera feed to see what and who was were as the deep scanning tech Miho had build was geared towards looking into the earth's crust and though during our initial surveillance we had used it to get the structural information of the lab, it did not pin point people very well. Miho and I had discussed that we needed to improve on the tech to be able to see people inside a labs buried deep in the ground or mountain to make our missions safer. But for now we had to rely on the hacked camera feed from the lab.
The hour passed and we had noted down what and who was were, but people could always move and going forward there would be no time to monitor the camera feeds and in any case we were going to disable all the cameras to create chaos. On the top of the hill, the routine had fallen back to normal. I was monitoring the outside camera feed until Miho got to the top. Miho quickly went to the final cliff and started climbing. She had almost reached the top when I whispered into the comms for her to stop. I had seen a guard move towards the edge where Miho was. Miho had also felt the presence of the guard and would have stopped on her own accord even if I had not told her to. This was out of routine for the guard and well thing kind of thing could never be predicted. Miho was in a precarious situation. She dared not move just in case the guard saw the movement in his peripheral vision. We needed the element of surprise until she was on top of the hill. She had a good place to perch on and well she perched there like a statue not moving at all. She was cool about the situation and well had a far away look while she waited to see what the guard did next. She knew he would see her if he turned his head towards his right and then there would be no choice for her but to leap from where she was and take down the guard which would alert the other guards and make things that much more difficult for her and then she might not be able to get me, the wolf and the gears up. Seconds passed which seemed like hours. Finally the guard turned left and stepped back into his routine round around the hill top. Miho felt him leaving and I also whispered her an all clear. I felt relieved. Miho asked me to kill the cameras, she was about to climb to the top and go on the offensive.

About this render :
This was another fun render to do. The idea of this render came from the previous render. I wanted to do a scene of Miho climbing the final cliff and having a tense moment when a guard appeared on top of where she was.
Again I used the same stone wall prop plus an instance of it. Placed Miho in a slightly different position and posed her perched precariously on the cliff face. To place her feet and hand on the rock face, I used the Daz 'Active Pose Tool' I had mentioned in my last render. I basically anchored her torso and one by one adjusted her feet and right arm, anchoring each one I had finished doing so that the next one did not affect the finished one.
One thing about doing long stories is that stories tend to get complicated and creating an illustration for that becomes a pain.... Now I am really wondering what scene I am going to create next to continue this story.... Miho on top of the hill.... and 15 guards there..... hmmmmmm......

I know just what you're saying. some may not realize how difficult it is to make a long story like this, un like one shot images one has to make the image work of the story line, which can some times be a real pain!! Great work!
