The story continues from the last render.... Call it sixth sense or something else, the mercenary who had come over to where Miho was before again for some reason turned around and walked back towards the same area. Miho had just come over the top and immediately notice him and even before I could react and tell her to watch out over the comms or the mercenary could react, she threw the bag with such force at him that he actually flew back a couple of feet and sank to the ground doubled up. The direct hit on the chest had knocked the wind off him and knocked him unconscious. In Miho's hand, even paper was a deadly weapon. At that moment one of the patrols came into view and were shocked to see a demure innocent looking girl standing there and one of their colleague on the ground slumped over a bag between his legs and chest. They all immediately pointed their assault weapons at Miho but even though they had been given the "shoot first and ask question later" order, none of them took her seriously as they could not phantom that this was the 'force' the corporation was afraid of. Miho put her hands up as though she did not want any trouble. They came over and surrounded her from all sides and the leader of the group asked "Who are you and how did you get here ?", Miho fringed innocence. She said she was a rock climber and this had looked like a good place to climb rocks. They didn't know whether to believe her or not. She had no weapons, looked innocent, spoke very softly.... None of that gave them any indication as to whether this was some highly trained operative of some kind or not. The leader of the group also thought the lazy bums watching the camera feed probably had been slacking and hence had failed to see her climbing and alert them. Then the leader pointed to the guy on the ground and asked what happened so Miho lied and said she had just come up the cliff face when she saw this man with a gun and she instinctively kicked him between the legs and hit him with her bag. She said she was really sorry for that and hoped she had not hit him too hard. Again to the leader this was plausible but he still did not know whether to believe her or not. The leader said to Miho that she had come across a secret government facility and would be taken into custody until everything checked out. She knew it was a lie, but played along. Then Miho saw was the leader reaching for the walkie talkie in his bulletproof jacket and sprang into action. In less than a second, she punched out 3 of the guys who fell to the ground like sacks of potatos and before the other 3 could even start to react she swung around and kicked all three on their faces / chest and knock them out too. If the leader had used his walkie talkie and found out that it did not work anymore, however innocent he thought Miho looked, he would put 2 and 2 together and shoot her (well, at least try to shoot her I should say) but the problem was the gunfire would bring the other team in who would immediately open fire at her and that would make things that much more difficult. She had knocked out 7 of them which meant 8 more were somewhere on the hill top still doing their patrol. Miho quickly moved to retrieve her bag to take the rope. There was no time to waste, the other patrol could turn up any time and there was no place to hide all the knocked out mercenaries. While all this was going on, the wolf and I were watching what was happening via the drone camera feed. I was still flying the drone and had held it stationary just at the top edge of the cliff where I was confident no one would notice it (as it was a really tiny drone) and we could keep an eye on Miho. We had already disabled all their cameras so we could not see what was happening using those cameras. We watched the feed at first with apprehension when the lone armed mercenary had turned and saw Miho coming over the edge and then with greater apprehension when she was surrounded by 6 heavily built and armed men and she had put her hands up. But then all of a suddenly all 6 guys around her had been knocked flat to the ground and Miho was still standing there. We only saw a blur of motion for a second. Miho had moved that fast. Miho's voice came over the comms. She said she was lowering the rope and that this time she would be pulling the wolf, me and the gear all together. She said we had no time to loose. I frankly did not know if she could pull us and the gears up together, but if she said she could, that meant she could. I absolutely believed in her. As the rope came down. I again made a harness using it for the wolf and then I tied it around myself and the gears and told Miho we were ready. She pulled us up as though we were made of feathers. Once we came over the edge, I unpacked the gears and got into my protective suit and took out the non lethal weapons and passed one to Miho. Now we needed to tackle the other 8 guys on patrol outside. Inside the chaos had just started. When the camera went all dead, the security guy watching all the camera press the alarm button. But nothing happened. No alarm bell started to ring but oddly he heard all the doors unlocking. He tried to use the comms and they seem to be dead too.... Now he feared they were under attack like what had happened to the other lab. That news had spread fast among the labs and offices of the evil corporation in spite of the efforts by the evil corporation to suppress that news. He ran out of the monitoring room and started shouting at the mercenaries he came across. They told him to calm down and tell them what was the issue. He said the comms and cameras was down and the alarms hadn't started even though he had pressed the button many times. The mercenaries tried to contact the two groups outside on top patrolling the area top but they had no luck. All this was too much of a coincidence for them. They knew they were under attack and they ran to the rest area of the mercenaries to get everyone together. Without comms and camera they were indeed in a big problem. Five of them were told to go near the entrance and shoot at anything that tried to enter. The rest took position at what they thought provided them an advantage. They knew the locks were not working they could not stop the force outside from entering the lab. But they would given them hell if anyone entered. Then the waiting game started for them.... They actually thought they were being attacked by hundreds of armed men... The story will continue with the next render....

I really had to do some thinking as to what I wanted to render this time to continue the story. After some thought I settled on the above scene idea. It took me hours just to pose Miho and all the characters around her and to light this properly. There are so many people in close quarters that shadows was a problem. Played around with the lighting a fair bit until I could see light falling on all the details properly. I am continuing to use the same rock wall prop. This time I turned on its side to make a ground prop. I really like the rock prop. So much detail in it. It also comes with a 8K texture hence it looks so real. I have used wide angle view to get everyone on the scene. Also set the perspective correction and spherical distortion in Octane camera settings to pull Miho a bit to the front.
