2013-05-24 After a while the cat sauntered off the way it had come - by jumping from ledge to ledge, past the openings in the brick wall. There's some 8 meters to the ground at the near end of the garage, in case it slipped! Ouch! A big fall, even for a cat! At the other end, the height is 3 meters. Now, how did the cat get the idea to jump up those 3 meters, go some 70 meters to the other end of the garage to get at the pigeon's nest? Were there little pigeons in the nest (I don't know)? Talk of intelligence? In this photo you can see 3 of several crows screaming at the cat, plus a magpie doing the same. There are several more birds circling "off camera", screaming. This is the first time I see birds of different species helping each other against a common enemy. Fascinating! They didn't stop until the cat had reached the other end of the garage and jumped down the 3 meters to the ground. Again, intelligence! Enjoy! I'm still amazed!
