On my way to work, Staffanstorp.
What’s this?
Address: Tallwood 8, Cluster 2, Tree 7, Top floor, nest 3. "Can you remember that, junior?" - momma.
"Naw." ("Caw") - junior.
Momma - "OK, remember the image. But don’t land in old Mrs. Scrax’s nest. She’ll throw you over board whether you can fly or not!"
I've seen a few dead young on the ground. Fallen out of the nest? Thrown out? Non-viable life? Victim of a flying predator? I don't know, but I feel sad seeing it.
So, what is this multi-dwelling housing complex?
Raven's nests, lots of them in the tree tops. And what a racket in the morning! I wonder what they're all talking about?
ENJOY! But lucky you don't have them all cawing at you!
Of note - while they are large birds, they are also quite shy, flying off as you approach from a distance.

Cool shot of these talkative birds, Michael. I've seen a bunch of them in trees close to where I work back in March and April, but they all seem to have gone elsewhere, now. Maybe they're visiting you! LOL

to prevent dead robins, I removed two nests on electrical boxes on my house.my female dog likes killing birds (bad),rodents(good), or any other small critter that enters the yard including butterflies(like they are a threat)
