good it was out of reach for Eve, or she would have killed it. if she was to stand on her hind legs then it would be an easy reach. as most German Shepherds is has developed bad hips. I was hoping because she is not a pure breed she would escape having trouble the butterfly is a "common" type for North Texas, but not short on beauty

wonderful. There are still butterflies. I knew lots of different species during my childhood 65 years ago. No I go into my garden or in the nature. But I am happy when I can see just one of them.
