Description

Saturday, June 10, 2017 I have attended several medieval festivals. They are, in fact, held in the People's Park, some 100 meters from my apartment! And for all the times I have been to these festivals I have NEVER seen a police or a police car! It must be due to all the heavily armed and armored persons attending the festival! I suspect any bad guy does NOT want to be sliced up or skewered. So they stay away. No need for police! (I have never seen a Muslim, either. Same reason?) Here we see a few of these heavily armed and armored individuals! Can you identify them? Hint - one is on a horse. Hint - the other is wearing a large helmet, just below the horde man. I don't know which is the fiercest of the two! Any guesses? Enjoy! Enjoy!.

The little guy in the helmet is obviously going to be a future squire and knight.

I suppose the muslims equate these festivals with the Crusades.. Wonderful shot here, Michael!
