Description

I had to take a river otter to Florida 2 weeks ago and was able to go to my favorite little beach twice while I was there. This osprey had dinner. He did did not seem to mind posing for me.

Great capture of this beautiful bird - we have a permanent nesting site behind where I work and every year the same couple come back to create more Osprey

Great image of a regal creature. Well done. A cropped version would also look good IMHO.

"Don't even think about it!" Made me interpret the photo - "Come any closer and I'll brain you with this rock!" And then you tell me it's lunch! Well, don't try stealing lunch from THAT bird! Glad to see the posts coming from you! Show you're alive and kicking! Am looking forward to more posts from you as you get the opportunity! Keep up the good work! :-)

My rat-ing - 6 unhappy rats (potential lunch, they are!😃 )

Not sure what Blinkings is on about with the crop. His preference, I guess. I like the space you left around the bird. Confining an osprey in any way seems to me to be a less-than-optimal choice! The open sky behind this beautiful creature gives it room to fly.

I'm glad you got to go to a favorite beach! :) I always find my favorite beaches to be such soul-satisfying experiences.

You're doing beautiful work with your 70D. I love this!
