Description

Though they later became characterised as vicious winged hags, the harpies were originially the personification of storm winds in ancient Greece. In Hesiod's "Theogeny" they are described as fair haired winged maidens: ...the Harpies of the lovely hair, Ocypete and Aello, and these two in the speed of their wings keep pace with the blowing winds, or birds in flight, as they soar and swoop, high aloft... So here is my imagining of golden-haired Ocypete outflying the storm. I daresay I'll have Aello join her at some stage when time allows!

Super amazing character and atmosphere !

You nailed the combination of the air speed of her wings against the windy elements and soaring birds.

One can sense she is flying toward their screens as the sun reflects the roaring clouds edging towards the forefront.

Magnificent work and render.
