The story continues from my render Never underestimate a girl. The mercenaries inside the cave entrance waited nervously with guns ready. They did not know what was going on outside as there was no gunfire of any kind that they had expected to hear when all the cameras and communications had gone dead. They knew the gate at the cave entrance could not be locked for some reason and they had no way of barricading the entrance. Their only hope way to shoot and kill anyone trying to enter the cave. The other mercenaries were further inside the cave complex. But having no way to communicate with each other because Miho had blocked all radio frequencies was a real problem for them. Seconds seemed like hours. On top we had already armed ourselves with the non-lethal weapons. Luckily for us Miho had knocked out everyone in one of the two patrols so fast that it gave us enough time to ambush the other patrol. We managed to knock out the renaming 8 of the mercenaries outside. Now the problem was to get into the cave and I was sure mercenaries were guarding it and ready to open fire at the first moment the cave entrance gates were flung open. But before I could open my mouth to discuss how we were going to get in, Miho flung open the gates and shot all five of the mercenaries guarding the entrance with her non-lethal projectiles that knocked them unconscious. The mercenaries reaction time were fast by any standard, they had the ability to react in less than 50 milliseconds but Miho did all that in lot less than 1 milliseconds so basically they had no chance. Miho had never told me she could move that fast. This was the second time I had see her move with that incredible speed. Basically the fight to get into the lab was kinda anti-climax. Miho continued to move at incredible speed and basically knocked every one of the remain 35 mercenaries (except one) out by the time me and the wolf even got into the cave. Not a single shot was fired by any of the mercenaries. They just did not have the time to react. Me and the wolf saw Miho standing near some hi tech machinery with a mercenary on the floor nearby. He was still conscious.The wolf said he will guard the mercenary. While all this was happening, all the scientist were hurdled in a meeting room. They had been told to stay put in that room by the mercenaries. The mercenaries were not able to lock them in as all the door locks had been disabled by the virus Miho had planted. The scientists knew something was happening but the mercenaries did not tell them anything. Two of the scientist decided to venture out of the room to see what was going on. When they saw no mercenaries were around, they sneaked out of the room and slowly started to move towards the upper levels of the cave. While the wolf guarded the lone conscious mercenary, Miho and I studied the machines and the computers to see what this lab was about. It turned out to be a lab where they were creating lethal chemical agents to be put into bombs that would be used in mass killings. Again Miho's anger started to burn. Suddenly Miho put her finger on her lips and motioned me to move to a darker area. The wolf moved closure to the mercenary with his fangs bared and the mercenary got the hint that he should not make any noise or move a muscle. She had heard someone and so had the wolf. From the other side Miho saw 2 people in hazmat suits walking cautiously towards where we were. She correctly assumed they did not have any combat training (not that it would have mattered) and stepped out of the shadows. The two of them stopped in sheer shock and surprise so see a girl standing there on the pathway. Then they saw me move out of the shadows and seeing a gun in my hand they took a step back and then their eyes went to the wolf and they got another shock and took another step back. Miho calmly told them not to be afraid and to come to her. There was something in her voice which made them believe she meant no harm and they came to her and started speaking. What we came to know from the 2 were basically horror stories. Each of the scientist had been kidnapped and brought here because of their skills in their line of work and then threatened with harm to their family and friends if they did not do what they were told to do. They had been forced to create chemical agents that would result in mass casualties and that could not be protected against using any kind of masks. And though they all had tried to slow down the progress they had been making as much as possible without arousing suspicion, unfortunately they had already created one such chemical agent. They said they had been praying that someone would come and rescue them somehow but they had not been able to get any word out as they all were under 24x7 observation. They also said if anyone disobeyed the mercenaries, all of them were beaten and so after initial period of some trying to disobey and seeing others also suffering for it, they had decided to stop disobeying. Miho assured them that she will ensure they were reunited with their families and that she would ensure they and their families were protected hence forth. Miho asked the scientists if this lab had a self destruct capability and they had yes. I asked one of them to follow me to the computer nearby and show me how to trigger it. It turned out she did not know how too trigger it but knew there was a self destruct. While I was trying to figure it out, the other scientist told Miho how ashamed they were that they had given in and created the weaponized chemical agent. Miho assured him that she was going to destroy this lab and make sure the discovery here could not be used by anyone. She asked if they had sent this information to the HQ, the scientist replied that they had not as they had hidden their success from the mercenaries. That was some good news. Miho asked the scientist to go and get all the other scientists and take them outside. Miho then came over to me and I said I could not find the self destruct trigger point. She turned around and asked the mercenary on the floor how to trigger it and she also told him if he did not tell her she would instruct the wolf to rip him apart. The mercenary knew he had no choice in the matter and immediately gave her the instructions and the security code to trigger it. We waited until all the scientists were out of the lab. We then rounded up all the unconscious mercenaries and tied them and took them outside. 34 of them. The wolf followed the only conscious mercenary out. Miho then dialed a person in a covert government agency who actually did not know who Miho was but knew whenever she called it was something important. She relayed the information about the lab and about the kidnapped scientists and the mercenaries to him and asked him to come and get them and also that he had to provide protection to the scientists and their family and friends which he promised to do so. She told him that the lab and all the harmful work done there would be destroyed by the time he got there. He pleaded with her not to destroy the lab but Miho told him there was no reason for him or his government to get access to such nasty chemicals and with that she cut the line. We took everyone to the base of the hill. The scientists helped us carry the unconscious mercenaries. At least this time it was from the front and accessible via a proper path and we did not have to climb up and down the sheer cliffs. Once we all were a safe distance from the hill, Miho went back to trigger the self destruct. She was back fast and moments later a massive explosion shook the ground and the the hill collapsed onto itself. That was the end of this lab. We waited until via Miho's satellite we picked up the special forces helicopters coming to where we were. We told the scientist that we had to wipe their memories from the time they had seen us. We told them we worked in the shadows and that was the only way for us to continue working like this to recuse other people. If any of them accidentally told anyone about us that would be the end of our mission. They all said they understood and only thing they asked was whether it will have some side effects. Miho said the only side effect would be confusion as they would find themselves in the field and not remember how they got out of the lab and how all the mercenaries ended up lying next to them tied up and unconscious. They said they could live with that. So one by one we wiped everyone's memory including the mercenaries and induced a 10 minutes sleep in all of them. Then we packaged up all our gear and the three of us walked back to the hyper plane. As we reached it we heard the special forces helicopters landing. Well, at least these scientist were in safe hands now.... We waited until we heard them leave. The guy who Miho had called tried his level best to get the scientists to try to remember the girl who had come to rescue them, he really wanted to get a description of Miho and all he got in return from them was "What girl ?".......

This was a fun render to do. I really like how it has come out. I actually was working on Miho's skin texture for low light situation and was testing with different lights. I had loaded a sci-fi prop for testing and after setting up all the light emitters I found that Miho looked really good under that lighting. So I decided to convert that RnD scene to an actual render to end the current story on. Took time to light the scene properly. I think Miho is looking gorgeous and her hair is also looking really good under the blue light. Her skin does not look flat like it did before in my low light renders. I used a mix of my Quixel rock objects and sci-fi set to create a feeling of a lab hidden inside a cave. I think now I can confidently render Miho in other low light situations :).
