Description
Just some art, to break-away from the long, long writing...
I did 6 and a half hours of commenting wednesday, so I'm finally catching up. I'll get to you all. And I'll try to come back for seconds. Thanks for being patient---I'm very slow with comments, they just take me forever.
I want to say something about RR.
There've been problems with ebots. I know, from some of you, that you don't get all my ebots. And some of you get them days later.
Since I'm absent from RR for weeks at a time, I would never complain about anyone not seeing all my images. Further, even when you do get my ebots, I never expect you to see or comment on everything I do. My writing isn't everyone's cup of tea---I fully understand that. (Even I have troubles reading it after it's done.) So this isn't a complaint about comments, because you've been terrific to me.
But: I'd at least like to think that all of you know I'm posting. I'm fine if you don't comment, but I'd like you to know. Yet, on numerous occasions, ebots never get to you. I work a long time on my uploads (some of those tales can take me nights; ditto art; and if it's a dedi, I work hard to make it personal). So when ebots don't go out, that really upsets me.
I've written to RR about this---many times. But it doesn't change. I'm not leaving, but I'm saying how I feel. It's frustrating. And I don't feel good saying "I posted something last week, in case you missed it," because, given how much I'm absent, I don't feel I have the right to wave my uploads in anyone's face. I just wish RR would get the ebots together. I'm really tired of it; I'm tired of art dropping in the void; and, after, 9 years on this site, I have a right to be upset. Ok, rant over, but I needed to say that...
Everyone: I wish you all a wonderful thursday, and I'll be commenting again today. My best to all of you, and thank you so much for your love and support.

Astonishing Art Mark. I love what you have done here! Fantastic tinsel colors, reflecting a bright, shimmering light. Gorgeous.

Pure Scintillating delight!
So glad you stick with rr in spite of all the downsides.

This image just screams out "LOOK AT ME AND BE HAPPY!" "I'm bright and cheerful; I bring joy to your heart and soul!" This is a wonderful and happy picture. the colours and patterns swirl around in a Brownian display; teasing the eyes and mind! As for ebots, I haven't had an issue, YET!
Take care and have a great Thursday!

How very specially composed, this beautiful, vibrant image of a purple dance with the focus leading to the middle. You have the talent to say so much through your art without words. It is feeling, the feeling that speaks. And, my dear friend, I would love to read your stories, but you know, I will not succeed. Indeed, you have the right to protest. Oh, and there's so much energy in all your work, like this one again. So I hope RR does justice to this.

Magenta on black rules the art world today in this stunning galaxy of a frame atop various abstract shapes, space salmagundi, and whatever. It's akin to looking through a kaleidoscope. And, sorry about your ebot problems; I really haven't encountered anything like that for quite a while, which is a surprise. You work hard and most diligently on your projects so you shouldn't be insouciantly ignored by RR and its minions.

Beyond awesome my dear friend I am blown away I love it furthermore your writing should be made compulsory worldwide it incredibly awesome in every aspect just keep it up as for the ebots i think if you were a vendor and that type of thing was happening they'ed jump to get it sorted double quick. Mark thanx for all that you. I must say I do count myself among the privileged people to have you in my life and I know all of my friends here @ RR think the same!! Have an awesome weekend my friend!! BTW I have started the dali project again and got myself a new art pen tablet I will talk to you about in the future. Take care

your comments are so different from any other comments You take time to think about what you want to say.I can relate to what you mention about RR.Too many changes and less attention for the user

Glad you got that off your chest, Mark. I think some of those ebots end up in the same place as those socks that mysteriously disappear when you do laundry - a certain amount of loss is pretty much inevitable, but it shouldn't be happening as often as you experience & leaving you barefoot.
I like the dense psychedelic purple background a LOT, but honestly I'm not liking that frame plopped in the middle of it - I wish I could lift it off to reveal the fantastic details beneath it. Just my two cents, I suspect I'm in the minority, and I know you won't be offended by an honest opinion...

Mark, this is a lovely and happy abstract, just full of color and happiness! I really have a soft spot for reds, purples, magentas and such - and this is a wonderful, dreamy swirl of such colors with the image nicely framed by the metallic frame. It's delightful!
And I have to say, I totally agree with your "rant" - although I call it a well-worded wake-up call to Rendo to get their s##t together, fix the stuff that's broken, and leave the stuff that isn't alone! We don't need no stinkin' revolutions! We need someone to listen to us - the artists that BUY stuff that keeps this ship afloat. I know a ton of folks have left the site because of some of these half-baked "improvements" to the site. There have been some welcome changes - such as getting away from that ridiculous 512K size limit on gallery images - and I can't thank the powers-that-be enough for that one. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou X 10 to the zillionth power!
And I know what you mean RE: comments... Although I get more than most folks, I've seen a definite drop-off over the last couple of years. If I get 20, I feel like I've climbed Mt. Everest, and not only survived, but slalomed my way back down, and beat every Olympic record in existence!
I like some of the things about the new 'rewards' system, and getting points for uploading gallery images is a good way to encourage more activity. I like that. Unfortunately, it also encourages people to post.......well, just anything....... to get points. Seeing half a dozen images of scribbles done on pharmacy note pads is a tad annoying to those of us that put hours of work into an image.. Well, enough. I don't want to rattle too many cages (I think I've pissed off the admins a time too many.. I'll never be nominated for AOM...LOL), and I don't want to turn your upload into a rant session - as if I haven't already! LOL
Good stuff, brother, and you know I'm always up for your images and writing! Bring it on!

Hello Mark there is a lot of mystic in your image, especially mysticism comes from color. But there is much more, rectangles suggest to me the idea of the cage that commercial art imposes, while content seems to want to escape from those geometric cages. It seems that from behind those flaming lights suggest an idea of rebellion against those stereotypes, they almost wanted to burn it and give it to the mystical fire of hell.

wow, this is cool artwork, I just love the bright colors; they demand attention. am I the only one who sees a face in the center frame? I see an angry man (or a frowning ape) there's a flame beneath his chin, perhaps that's why he's not too happy. I have e-bots shut off because there were too many and I would panic and get too frustrated if I didn't get to everything. I have enough stress in my life as it is... please don't feel you have to always comment on my uploads.

very nice

This is GORGEOUS!!! I love the colors and the movement in the image. Outstanding work!

Wonderful artwork.

Another spectacular creation. Always a treat whether graphic art or prose. On the ebot issue, I've taken to checking the "More Images" list to the right of each image. And that's why I am just commenting on this three days late.
Richardphotos
stunning art and choice of gradients. I do not know if I miss any ebots or not. I know I am always behind

I love to call this 'Eye-Candy', it has all the attributes, of what I think the inner body experiences, [everything in purple/fuchsia/pink/ and or magenta colours !] so, when you munch on some delicious dessert, e.g. chocolate - YUM but your _ 'Mystic Flame' _ hasn't really got much to do with that, for someone with a sweet tooth though... it has now taken on the appearance of an _ 'Eternal Flame'_ with that silver frame added or inserted - or maybe a portal into another dimension ?, once you can actually jump through the metallic frame... very vibrant and always illuminating Mark.
...about the e bots or the lack of it... I can sympathize with you right now, but I am so irregular here [as of late] that I haven't got much to say or add, because I am always behind [like Richardphotos above] but I hope that someone here @ RR can hear you and read you !!! All I know for sure, is this - if members here haven't made someone a favourite, then there are consequently no notifications for them, when they are posting and then of course with the recent site changeover/upgrade, you don't even get the ebots that informs you anymore, if somebody commented on your art, like in 'the good old days'
Cheers my friend BB
