Fantastic idea! - warm meets cold (it seems). I also think you texturing fits perfectly (is that "seagull-droppings" on those rocks ;-)

Great POV (Point of view) and nice interesting terrain (underlying elevations). Even the layering looks good, although that's an odd choice of colors. Apart from the colors, the only thing that strikes me as odd is the abrupt transition from dry rock(land?) to ocean. I think another layer with darker colors restricted to -5m to +5m would be easier on the eyes. Good use of Bumpiness, by the way- "flat" rocks, and "bumpy" vegetation.

interesting water an nice POV.the surface needs some more work.use cloudshading to add some shadows to atmosphere and terrain.IMHO its too bright.looks unreal with the lilac sky
