another delight, dee, and I can't get over the detail you get in clothing: Even the ribs on his sweater are ultra-present, including the cross-weaves and the deep indentations. And how the clothes fall naturally on the body, with the furrows and shadows, etc. Great job on her skirt, the way it flares out in front of her, emphasizing the direction she's going. And love the gold in her purse, bracelet and the ties of her shoes. (You sure you haven't worked in this field???) Great ivory light, a very european looking background---and in fade (bokeh) to let the couple stand out. This is the kind of couple that makes people happy to see real love. I love both their expressions. (And I love the two-tones in the hair of both of them.) Beautifully 'caught' and done, once more. (It feels like a photographic moment, "the decisive moment".)
(shopping---my first girlfriend ((she was my college sweetheart, and if we hadn't been hippies, we'd have been married)) had 2 million pairs of shoes. That's a small estimate. And everytime we went out---where there are a gazillion shoe stores---she stopped and moaned at the windows. I once asked her if she'd worn all the shoes she had, and she got reeeeeallly pissed off. "You're only asking that because you think I have too many!" ((Yeah, she was right.)) I didn't 'get' it until I had the money to by some great shoes, myself. After that, if I pass a great shoe store, I stop and gape. ((There are some shoes that I'd die to own. Problem is, they cost an arm and a leg. I'm talkin' wayyyy expensive.)) But now I understand what clothes shopping means!)
