Description

Full line up of The Blades. All Ex-RAF pilots, mostly ex-Red Arrows. They use Extra 300LP's except the solo aircraft which is an Extra 300 SC (Blade 4), this a more powerful aircraft. They are the only display team apart from the Red Arrows that are allowed to arrive over a crowd from behind. Scampton show news : Vampire and Venom flying in from Norway! A Venom"!!! Rob

You are going to have a great summer. I really appreciate the effort you make to locate and photograph the rare types. My experience with jets allows a lot of open space to fill my thoughts with the 30's. The Extra is something I have twisted my imagination around in Microsoft Simulator X. Actually portraying something with skin on it and an instrument panel takes me forward from performance calculations and graphs even beyond trajectory modeling of a data deck in air combat with another data deck. Your point of view removes some of the alarm in extremes.

Made for aerobatics. Handsome lineup. A Venom! Had to look that one up...I'm up on the Vampire...just have added the Venom to my random access memory:)
