3 locomotives - how many cars were they hauling? And you got these photos without being harassed as a suspected terrorist or saboteur! Several rail fans have had that experience due to over zealous cops or locomotive engineers. Interesting to see the different rail cars and what they are used for. Keep up the good work! :-)

(I'm skipping all over, Harry, put on your seatbelt...)
I don't know what the actual sky was like, but I assume you did some postwork, and it made this a striking backdrop to the detail of the train. That flat white (with some strains of blue) is striking, behind these cars. And you begin with the engine coming at us, and end with the final car moving away. (Corn Products? Corn oil, maybe?)
This is about the sheer massivity of these trains. Most of the shots show how long and massive it is. And the last shot really drives it home, because of the many rounded tankers all in a row. (Stunning sight.) The 2d shot brings out not just the massive presence of those huge engine cars, but how they get subsumed in the train's forward movement...And you got some striking graffiti! And fine contrasts in no. 4, between the ribbed box cars and the cylindrical cars behind. And it all ends with the cylindrical. I really like the light in these: It sets off the trains. And your angle gives plenty of sky, while the street remains the same in the last 3 (and the top 2). A fine montage, and impressively done.
