Description

Hi There =) ! Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders.

Story / Description :

It was finally weekend. In the morning I had left the house before Miho. There was things I had to settle in the city and Miho had said she would come pick me up later and then we go for a picnic. I had finished what I needed to do and then went to this place where during weekends all cars and big vehicles were barred from entering and lots of people came there to shop and eat there. That place had a family run bakery and they made sandwiches that Miho loved and so for the picnic I thought of buying sandwiches and cold drinks from there. The lady at the bakery knew exactly which ones Miho liked and she made a small basket of fresh sandwiches for us. As I came out of the bakery I saw Miho was already there. How beautiful and radiant she was looking sitting there on her bike and I think she was feeling a bit shy knowing everyone was looking at her. She had that beautiful smile on and was looking rather sexy in her strapless blue dress. This was her favorite type of dress. And she had made them herself and in many different colors and prints. I did not know how she knew I would be buying from this bakery but well I was only too happy to see her again. I went up to her and gave her a kiss and then got behind her putting my arms around her.... Miho started the powerful engines and we took off... There was so much to look forward too =)...

About this render :

I love how this scene finally looks. I was going to update another of my old renders but then I started playing with the scene and that resulted it a completely new scene. At first the people dinning at the restaurant were just behind Miho. Then I decided to put them further back. That opened up the scene. But a lot more empty space got created. So I added the lady on the scooter on one side and the segways and the girl walking on the other. So now the background was full. Had to do something about the foreground. So added the flower pots and the bench and the cat. All that nicely framed Miho on her bike. I posed everyone looking at Miho. That took some time. Because of the wide camera angle, even a slight change in camera angle meant I had to repose everyone's head again to point at Miho. Posing Miho in the way you see her also took time. Finally using Zbrush I manually created the draping morph for her skirt. Once all the posing was done and the scene looked ok, I started with the materials of all the objects on the scene. I think the bike looks great with the dark chrome and dark cherry red paint job. I treated the helmet to the same paint job. The scooter and the segways behind have the same paint material with different colors. I also darkened the walls on the building in the background a bit otherwise the bright light was whitewashing all the details. I added specular materials to the restaurant windows and managed to keep the sign there using the Octane material editor. Also used specular material on the bike's and scooter's headlight and turn lights and also on the visor on the helmet. The road / pavement was changed to a custom pavement texture (though I guess I am not too happy with it). Actually because Renderosity's upload function was down, I redid the render after changing some materials. This original image had noise after 3+ hours of rendering. This current render was done in 2 hours after some changes to the specular materials and the change of the segway's paint colors. You have to see this in full to see the details and also the reflections on the bike. Actually I placed another building behind the camera so as to block the "ground has disappeared" feel to a render when you only see the sky reflecting on the reflections. You can actually see the building reflected on the bike. The starburst is also done within Octane.
Hope you all like the render ! Rendered in Daz Studio using the Octane Plugin. No post work done. Full size 1750 x 1000. I don't think she's gonna drive around for long before that dress flies completely off of her... she either needs a tighter outfit or a bunch of clamps to hold her dress in place. Excellent render! =)

Very nice compo on this scene :) , and yes I see what you mean about the other people looking at her, as sophosticated as 3D programs and 3D characters are nowadays, it doesn't work like in real life :) , to have them looking at someone with a give PoV, you have to make them look at a slightly different point most of the time. And each camera update means redoing everything lol :) .
