Description
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
We watched several very solemn activities here to include several wreath laying ceremonies and one changing of the guard as seen above.
The Tomb is guarded 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year in all types weather.
There have been four unknown soldiers interred, one from WWI, one from WWII, one from the Korean War and one from the Vietnam War.

I was somewhat surprised to find out that thanks to advances in mitochondrial DNA testing, scientists were eventually able to identify the remains of the Vietnam War soldier. On May 14, 1998, the remains were exhumed and tested, revealing the "unknown" soldier to be Air Force 1st Lt Michael Joseph Blassie. His family chose to have his remains sent home to St Louis and interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Sorry for my delayed reply to a question you asked. Yes, I call it tone mapping but its also known as HDR. There is not much to it. It gives several different results and you simply select one to taste. I am not one for time consuming editing. It works for me! Have a great weekend!

One of the few memories I have of visiting D.C. as a young kid was the changing of the Guard. There is something about this that just grab's one's heart.
