So you got a few people here saying it looks like pastry---yeah, I can see that! An elaborate frosting. (The bricks might be a bit difficult to digest, though...) You're one of a small number of artists here who give us postworked and originals (also lots of alternate versions), and I love both. I'm a big fan of seeing the artist's process. I can see this image in the "atomic" version, but this is a very different image. I'd have never guessed it was so flesh-toned, so light, and with that beautiful dark pigment (or stone) laced throughout. (Maybe that's where you got some of those atomic 'beads'...) Very sweet light on this, and you caught an almost shiny quality to the stone.
