Description
Captured 7/4/17 at 6:57 am, in front of our condominium complex.
California state law clearly states "Never park or leave your vehicle within 15 feet of a fire hydrant or a fire station driveway."
The fine/penalty for such an irresponsible action is 80 dollars in California, and up to $115 in other parts of the country.
Apparently, some people don't care.

I bet they were parked there overnight. I'm sure the fine would be more if fire department needs access to the hydrant. Either way not good for anybody. Nice capture .

This deserves a towing. Some people are just plain dumbasses and think their the shit.

Is the hydrant real? It looks like it's made of plastic, in which case it could be a prank on the car owner! Thanks for the chuckle! :-)

In answer to your skepticism, the hydrant is as real and water operative as any hydrant could be.
