When this went up, I noticed it was a less 'crowded' image than some of the others, but it still has that strange juxtaposition of differing elements. This mermaid (I assume she's a mermaid) is much more frontal---she nearly faces frontwards---than some of your other women; but she still turns away in mystery. And the greens of her lower quarters harmonize with the greens in her hair (and her neckband, etc); and are striking against the deep grays and gray-blues of so much of the rest of the image. The water almost feels like shale; and the rock she's on glitters---to echo pearls, lights and spray. Everything in that region seems to complement everything else: There's a lot of glittering in that dark setting...
Your sky is dark but light at the same time; you have a big Japanese-print sun (or moon), and a little lone island in the background. So much expression in such a physically small piece: Another remarkable whole and mysterious melange from you...
