_____ Jodhpur, in Rajasthan, is famous for the huge fortress of Mehrangarh that towers over the city, a city where the Brahmins, the highest class of Indians in the caste system, live and can be spotted through the painted blue walls of their houses.This is why Jodhpur is nicknamed 'the blue city', in traveller's guides. The Thar desert, with its scorching temperatures is quite near, hence the thick and
sizzling hot mist that hovers over the city, and makes it difficult to see the blue sky.

Love the angle of this shot, how the dark orange of the structure in the foreground contrasts with the blue buildings in the distance.
