2017/08/21 90% Eclipse, Wichita, KS, USA - Beginning
The Eclipse was very impressive. I took this from my home driveway after I got off work. Sadly, for my wife and grandkids, they drove to the 100% zone near Hiawatha, KS, but it was mostly overcast and rainy. They got only the briefest glimpse of the corona. I had a clear view of the Eclipse.
Heading back home, they got stuck in 4mph-to-stalled traffic on the way. it took them from 1:30pm to 10:30pm to go only 240 miles [approx. 386Km] due to traffic congestion. BTW, 170miles of the 240mi. is Turnpike with a 75mph [121 kph].
I used an ISO/CE approved filter on both my eyes and the camera lens.

Awesome! We didn't go out to look. (we were in Walmart) It got dark, but was really cloudy. You got an excellent view!!
