Our puppy is growing up. She is ten months old and is in her first heat. She is a wonderful companion for the entire family.

At ten months Chloe weighs 82 pounds and is 22 inches tall at the shoulders. Her breed's legacy is as a Swiss mountains cart pulling work dog for farmers of that region. Dogs were used to pull the carts around narrow steep mountain trails. If she bolts to chase a cat, rabbit, or to go greet a child or adult, It is a tug for me to hold her back. She is extremely strong. She dearly loves children and is completely gentle with them, but she can be aggressive to get up to the children/adults at first. We have found that it is better for us to let the people come to her, rather than her going to the person. Thanks for the comments. JC
