Description
Two record shots, both with my point and shoot on full zoom and hand held, so pretty ropey !
So far this season the list of layers at my pond is Azure Damsel, Large Red Damsel, Emperor, Common Darter and Southern Hawker.
No Chasers this year!
This is for Mark, wysiwyg, who commented on my recent post of a darter
"Your description that they don't keep still put an image in my mind of a darter dive bombing the pond and releasing her eggs as she flies over. Must be the Chai tea and chocolate."
This is exactly what they do!

He grabs her by the back of the neck and dabs her up and down, she is hopefully depositing an egg on each down stroke. Not particularly romantic, but efficient.
