My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

A great character study. I'd like to know what they were talking about, it looks interesting. Thanks for the update. Some good news at last.

Glad to hear your property in Texas is unscathed and all is well with you. :)

You hit the button - real cool eye contact photo. I take it you did a bit Photoshop work, too. And, thanks for the hurricane update! Glad to hear you weren't hit. But, my, all that were hit - so sad. Keep up the good work! :-) PS - I thought you lived in Washington! Ha! How I got that mixed up!

We live in Washington from May to September, and in Texas from November to March, traveling in April and October. Lots of retired people head to warmer climes in the winter. We call it snowbirding.

Intriguing ! Like Mark I need to hear them!

I like this. In our world of texting and computers face to face communication and eye contact is becoming a lost art. Glad to hear your place in Texas excaped the storm.

True contact indeed. (I've been twice in El Paso and I made the 66 road (via Amarillo) twice too).

Seems they are swinging well and that is allways a good thing, when sitting next to eachother anyway :) Happy to read, you and Bill are not in Texas. Even better your winter resident is ok. :) Enough people are either struggling or homeless right now and it is sad enough.

Good to hear that you are safe! This is a great candid... not one, but two expressions that are captured perfectly. I like this!

Glad you're okay, I was wondering how close you were to the hurricane.

Yes, I'm happy too that you and Bill and your texas friends weren't effected by this cataclysmic storm. It's simply cataclysmic. I hope it stops and leaves for good, so they can start the slow process of recovery...Your 'meeting' shot is beautiful and soft (in feeling) and intense but gentle. I also just love the faces themselves. Seamless surgery on the shot, too (removing what you removed). Another of your candid people shots, which capture precious single moments, and with real aplomb. Beautifully done. (And those cabinet doors are gonna jump into one of your photos, one of these days, and say: "You think you can mess with us???" They're gonna mess up one of your photos and yell "pay back!"...)

I have been sitting here trying to come up with a witty line for David to be saying...but nothing is coming to mind. You, on the other hand, have magnificently achieved your goal of capturing a special moment of conversation. Trent and David's kitchen is the perfect location for this type of "people photography".

A wonderful snapshot!

Beautifully done Tara!

This has a very warm and conversational feel to it. A lovely photo, Tara - and yes, sometimes the smallest of details (or lack thereof) can make a photo..
