My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Not a good place for a nest. Poor mom is going to wind up with hard boiled eggs. Killer post work. I really like what you've done with this.

Absolutely wonderful, Tara!
BTW I really enjoyed your dream!

What dream??? Andrea said you she enjoyed your dream---where? What did I miss? (I read everything you post---where was this dream???) Anyway, this has to be seen full size, because, in full, it's wonderful! The colors are terrific---esp with that gold and yellow against all those blues. And the nest is a wonderfully disheveled, plopped-down thingamajig, right in front of that formidable wall with those deep, deep cubby holes. Great piece of imaginative postwork; and the rim---the bottom rim---is wonderfully colorful and active. Terrific job, tara. A bangup postwork.
(Addendum: I just saw your dream! In Helle's gallery! That was quite a dream! Great how you scrunched half of Northern Europe into, like, a square block! That's wish fulfillment...I wish it were so! Great dream. I love it...)

Awesome abstract, Tara. If just one could make such on a canvas, huh? Love that nest. :)

Oh, I like this. Gunsmiths of old used to engrave pistols, rifles and shotguns with these very same designs. I've just never seen a boilermaker do it...LOL What a way to set off a bird's nest. Terrific.
