Love the use of white not only in tiger but also how it balances whole piece. This is one of my favorites for the year...thank you for sharing your talents so we may all experience.

(I'm at almost an hour, and I've only done 3 images! That shows you how slow I am---I wish I could do these much faster, believe me, but it's because of what you create that I don't. So at least I can pass the blame onto you...put up some cartoons, for god's sake, a few smiley things, a brillo pad box! I could leave a lot more comments if you did...just a suggestion...)
I recognize a Denise tiger (I don't remember its name, as it's been a while since I've been in her gallery). The commenter above spoke of how you balanced the image with your white: I agree, assuming he was referring to the blast of white in the upper left corner: It does just that, and it says that the cosmos is harmonizing with the tiger by giving it a huge white light, as if acknowledging the tiger's own (rare) whites. (I also agree with that commenter's elation at your work!) Your work on the tiger's coat is gentle, showing each hair and each flow, but making sure they all make a whole. It's a very peaceful image, and the blues in its fur are brought out beautifully---it's like you went in and gave 'blue touches' in all kinds of places; and they match its eyes---a beautiful aqua blue. (You always pay close attention to eyes.)
The gentle plant-life around it picks up those blues, and also harmonizes with the darker slate blues of the sky. The left top corner is approached with layered billows or decreasing hues (and increasing whites), and it creates a dynamic flow, to back up the peaceful gaze of the tiger. A gentle, peaceful portrait, capturing the inner peace of this fierce creature---something you do a lot (peace within fierceness), and with total ease---as well as its pondering, meditative qualities. Beautiful, peaceful image, done with real subtlety and loving care.
