Description

Everything seems to be finishing earlier this year, and I have seen far fewer hoverflies than 2018. The compensation has been the huge success of the pond for mating dragons and damsels, and there are plenty of bumblebees. Two trees have died, Cornus Porlock, and a big acer, and not from the same thing. Nothing lasts for ever. The snails had most of the sunflowers! The one in the main pic was self sown from the bird seed. It is still a wonderful place to be, just rather wilder than when I was more active!

yes, it seems early this year or time past fast... I don't know why - starlings are ready to go... wonderful garden view - I am almost jealous, my garden is not this nice this year, to much time outside at work...

What a beautiful garden! Despite all the setbacks you mentioned, it's still The Garden of Eden compared to our best results in our own yard! I think you must spend many hours working in yours. Hopefully, you spend many hours relaxing and enjoying it, too.

Everything is so beautiful, I don't know where to look first! I love the light on those stunning grass heads, and hydrangea is always a winner for me. And are those potato blossoms? Such variety ... a feast for the eyes!
