a person could enjoy this area with their eyes shut - just feeling and enjoying each section's textures would give the person a sense of completeness and serenity

Does this have a sneak factor? Looks like you are in a strangers garden. A lovely clear shot and I think you got spotted by a camera, Didnt you? :)

all those leaves and no two are alike. I like this park, I would sit here and read and make up stories of the lives of the people who live in the hi-rise build in the background.

I need to choose six or eight pictures, even at random, and work with a subdued color palette. I think it takes practice to get that result, and it's NOT my natural go-to choice! Whenever I see someone do it, I fall in love with the image and with the idea (Denise has a way of graying down her colors that makes me weep with envy) and when I try it myself, I invariably end up enhancing a bit here and a bit there, and then I ruin the whole vibe. You inspire me to get busy and work on this!!

Holy smoke! I would describe this as a botanical garden rather than a park. I mean, like tons of foliage, probably as far as the eye can see. You live in a virtual Garden of Eden, which also includes those loverly homes, apartments and streets you expertly post on RR, just for our benefit, which makes many of us jealous. In any event, take care during your upcoming sabbaticals and absence from Renderosity.

I like how you have isolated this garden area from the tall buildings in the background giving it a more intimate and natural feeling.
