I was going to do more flowers/plants, but I didn't want to leave this be: Like your earlier doxie piece (doused in beautiful rainbow hues), this is doused in the rainbow as well; only here you infuse the hues into every stripe and spot and fur-pattern, etc. I love the coming together of these 3 species, a kind of paradise scene...and your colors---and how you integrate them via the animals' patterns, etc---are glorious. I love these multicolored, multi-painted coats. I love the greens on the cub's forehead, the alternating colored bands on the zebra's coat, as well as in its mane. And the sparkles on the zebra's coat, and the giraffe's pastel-colored fur---colored in splotch after splotch...and in its mane, flowing down its forehead and nose. I love how these three are filled with colors, the visible colors (and probably many invisible ones); and I love the gentle blue sky behind them, balancing out their hues with that peaceful blue (filled with a quiet rainbow, and of course stars...). Great for childrens' illustration, but great for adults too. And all of it is bright (many of your pieces have deep darks as well; your powerful drama; but this is mostly bright and sunny). Glorious. Another side to your huge artistic heart...
Carol, I'm at an hour and 30 minutes, and I see I only did 6 images...but I'll come back for more before I step down. This is a glorious image to stop on though. Your work is an endless fountain! It's almost emptied me of words---and you gotta do a lot to make that happen...It's cosmic and magical coming here, always...
