Amelia meets Professors Rauber & Kopsch Since my "Emma Meets Dr. Schultze" series was so well received, I decided to make a sequel with Amelia and some of professors Rauber and Kopsch anatomical illustrations, which I started shortly after the Emma series. Then a lot of other things got in between. So, here we have some background information on these eminent professors of anatomy and histology. Friedrich Wilhelm Theodor Kopsch (4 March 1868 - 24 January 1955) August Antonius Rauber (1841-1917) Professors Rauber & Kopsch collaborated in writing a massive anatomy book (actually several smaller books compiled into a much larger work). Unfortunately Prof. Rauber died before the work was completed. Prof. Kopsch continued the project and completed it. The work is more oriented towards tissue and cell biology as this was the orientation of their work. The name of the books was - Lehrbuch und Atlas der Anatomie des Menschen (the books are in public domain) German - rauber – thief; kopsch – head(?) – let’s see if Amelia still has her head on after meeting the professors!
