love the 'steampunk' ship, something out of 1850 or from a Jules Verne novel. Love how clunky and clad it is, in the middle of this otherwise sheen-like water, with a gigantic moon setting over it. It creates ripples, which feel like they're painted on. And the stars in the background add a sparkle to the whole. Just a leaping fish in the background, and a diving bird---a very quiet night piece, with little visible life, but the feeling that it's all slumbering as this boat quietly leaves its mark via silent ripples. Your near black-and-white work is quite nuanced and expressive. You seem equally at home with it, in these images, as you are with full color. More magic.
