This has a cartoon-like feeling, though it's clearly a photographic image, with stark clarity throughout. I love the lady bee looking out at us as if we're intruding---she looks like she's doing her hair---and that big, almost stained glass bird, which looks like it's been pasted on the image like a collage. It's a very tangible, life-like image, and the flower feels totally photographic, with great light and shadow (and texture). This almost feels like Magritte, with his totally realistic images put together in utterly surreal ways. And you have a ladybug on it too. Minimal but very bold. I really like how bold and opulent this feels.
