Description

There was a time when gas tractors tried to hold on as shorthorns with abbreviate hood length and most cab overs were diesel. The traditionalists began to assert themselves with flat nosed rigs even when sleepers and deflectors appeared to streamline the interface with the trailer. Now, dear hearts, swoon for this! Perhaps soon only school buses will be flat nosed even as city busses long ago went rear-engine and totally flat faced. Because this opinion applies to the view of people who do not drive, I have categorized this post as "objects" rather than transportation even though these opinions are from riders. Using terms like Class 8 or Over-the-road is TMI for the lovers of this genre.

Not as timeless as a Peterbilt, but as Richard says, if you're hit by one, life expectancy is debatable!
