Description
RAF Scampton Airshow (honest).
Isn't it LOVELY! And...its airworthy and used..
This and other classic fast jets are owned by Hawker Hunter Aviation (yes they have one of those lol). They are used for defense contracts and Government work (read between the lines here guys).
I am kind of guessing the chances of this flying at an airshow are next to nil! You should see their Phantom!
And you will...

Great Capture,

Cool plane and pic. The Luftwaffe got a lot of Soviet equipment when East Germany merged with West.

I thought the SU-22 had outer swing panels on it's wings and the fixed wing version was an SU-7! Guess it's like the B-1B which might or might not be supersonic and swept wing depending when you saw it.

Hi, Just to confirm, this is a Su-22M-4 'Fitter'. Its the final version and was known as 'Fitter K'. Included advanced Avionics, additional fuselage inlets, fixed air intake nose cone. It does have swept wings, but on most pictures I have checked, while sat on the ground you would never know. (see photos on wiki for very i.d). Rob
