Description

One of many street food outlets in Bournemouth Gardens. I have an aversion to street food because of the litter it generates, although I am aware it is not the food itself but the scumbags who think that it is not their responsibility to clear up after themselves. I also had a lodger who, some years ago, ate a curry in the vegetarian field at Glastonbury Festival and came back a salmonella carrier. Hundreds of others also were infected who had eaten there. Our whole household was quarantined for a while till the all clear was sounded. See another Here

I like your pictures, but am not fond of that sort of food. I have been known to make a picky choice from such a place in an emergency, but all in all, I'd rather not. Bill and I got Dove ice cream bars from a stand like this in Washington, DC, last spring, but it's hard to mess those up. Into the freezer and back out again, with no intervention on their part. If it wasn't kept properly, you'll know right away by the texture. I'll carry my wrappers for half a mile to find a trash can rather than leave it on the ground!!

that's why I carry a baggie in my pocket(s) for trash - especially true when I hunt, my back pack carries the food in and the trash out. sometimes extra trash as I find it. ( I could go on a rant about inconsiderate hunters)

I like both pictures. This one seems to me like an installation you might find at a museum. The only thing holding me together are the masses of anti-bodies I carry around so I have no problems. Food trucks are a big deal here in Los Angeles. Some offer gourmet food.
