even though I haven't gotten to half of the galleries, I want to come back here and comment on more of your so thoughtful and inventive work. The light here is a silvery gray, which is very delicate and ethereal. And, by contrast, you have very strong/sharp imagery in the foreground, very photographic. This woman (I assume it's a woman because of the breast covering---maybe it's a man) is something from native american or oceanic ceremonial art, her face looks like an ancient mast, and her headdress is like an ancient (and decayed) headdress from some far-unknown tribe. She/he kind of 'drips' down your image like a ghost. And the smoke/mist around her/his feet is another layer, like silk or patterns in some rare mineral. The bird is so tangible. A mysterious, haunting image---not in the "boo" category, but in the "mysteries of life and death" category. It's beautiful while also eerie. You do such original and unusual images. They're a constant source of newness to me.
