I missed this one! How'd that happen? I must not have gotten an ebot. No mind, I'd have found it when I went through your gallery (which is how I comment after the fact, anyway---I go to the gallery pages and dive in).
Love the character in both these birds. The owl seems pensive, the other bird, very happy. ANd you give the other bird a pretty-much clean front, to balance out the intense detailing of the owl. Love the blues in the background, against that stark black ink and white paper. Terrific.
