BIOI have spent the majority of my life in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and Canada. I spend a great amount of time outdoors hiking, bicycling, and running. When not that, I am often on my computer programming or messing around with Terragen.
Terragen is a software program created in 1997 by a very talented young man named Matt Fairclough. It is currently free, with registered users able to render larger images and higher terrain resolutions. The official site is http://www.planetside.co.uk
I got started in 3D rendering when a friend showed me e-on softwares Vue D' Esprit program. I moved to Terragen after seeing some of the work other users had done with it and seeing the high detail that it could render with.
Please enjoy my work, and feel free to email me with questions or comments or anything else. I'm happy to share any or all of the files used in my work, as long as I still have them (my hard drive has an issue with formatting itself)

Oooo, this is nice. I love the surf and the crispness of the whole image. Clouds and rays are beautiful too. The only thing I could think of is that angular shoreline, though even that doesn't bother me too much...overall just a really nice mood.

I love that sky & water - a great match. The dateails and colors in the surface mapping looks very good too. I see what SC means about the angular shoreline, but it's an easy fix. If your dark brown layers are on top, just increase the fuzziness of the minimum altitude. If it's the sandy layer on top, just increase the fuziness of the maximum altitude. (You may have to increase the altitude a meter or two to compensate.) Hope you saved your settings - this combo is worth another few pictures...

agree with the 2 comments aboveand would like to add a minor issue: imho the surf is a bit smooth...

Wonderful feeling. I especially like that lighting on the mountain to the right, the reflection in the water and the "mud" in the waterline closest.
