The style looks more like Charles Sheeler (urban geometric architecture) than Andrew Wyeth (rural pastoral), but in either case, I like the simplicity, flatness & sense of space you've created here, Mark (as well as the serene, majestic color palette)...

It's a 'general' Wyeth, nothing specific...just trying for the feeling, even though he painted rural scenes...wasn't intended as an homage or anything specific...

This has the feeling of a watercolor. Peaceful, with the sound of gulls and waves and not much else. I know it's Lake Michigan, but it has the sensibility of the Gulf Coast. It reminds me of a time when we were at Goose Island, near Rockport. Standing on the beach, looking across the shallow laguna to the barrier islands beyond, is lovely.

Outstanding work! Charles Sheeler, maybe, but also a healthy dose of Edward Hopper (Nighthawks)

OH! this makes me want to have a quiet walk along the beach in exactly that weather, even though it must have been taken in the early morning :) It looks so peaceful and inviting. Do I see some wind bags there?

This is really a striking image - in its starkness, it is somehow calming.. I feel like I'm sitting quietly, on a crisp fall day, looking out at the lake, and watching the gulls. Very peaceful, Mark. I like it!

Even simple dustbins can make a photo interesting!!!!

I like the tack you gave to your work!!!

(I could not find the translation of the word "Wyet" probably will be a slang, but I'd like to understand the meaning)
