Feeling a little Squirrely at the moment, so a shot of Squirrel will do.
Not going to say much here. Started with BW photography many years back (Petri 35mm range-finder). Read a magazine article that said: Shoot! Film is cheap! Took that to heart. With digital photography one can recyle the film ad nauseum.
Interests vary greatly. Generally attracted to large, noisy machinery. Especially older stuff. Very fond of travel shots; particularly new aspects of familiar places and things.
PW is usually done with Corel 9 DCE. Seems to have the power of much more expensive software suites at a fraction of the price.

Beautiful view. Those trees were probably not there in 1778, but probably others were. So, who is hiding in the distant tree line? Or sneaking around behind it? Always fun to speculate a bit. Thanks for posting all these interesting photos! :-)

Actually we are on Little Round Top looking at the sight (sans monuments) that General Lee wanted control of: enfilading cannon fire along the entire Union line on Cemetery Ridge as marked out by the monuments. The grand monument center left is for Pennsylvania units that held the line. The actual cemetery is visible center right. Culp's Hill is just out of view to the right about level with the cemetery.
The lack of tourists says: rough terrain, so had Lee's forces taken the Little Round Top, retaking it would have been one heck of a chore.
