Nice capture. I believe this is what you people in the mid-west refer to as a light dusting. I haven't lived in snow country since 1961. Can't say as I miss it.

I really like the snow decorating the flowers in this photo, they look like snowball bushes. I guess snow is pretty, but shoveling gets old fast. wheeling a wheelchair in snow is big work. I would like to enjoy snow in photos and not on the ground here, this year. :)

Of course it must have cold winter days in your town - I remember just hot and wet days... I like this kind of street pictures, I like the toning and the hard contrast - I can feel the cold wind in the streets while seeing this photo!

you was very busy with upload I see, hope to catch up with comment soon...:-)

Your signature high contrast works so well with this.

I HATE the cold.

This one sends chills up my spine. It conveys the damp cold of a snowy day very well. Not looking forward to Winter.

Brrr! Makes my fingers fall off just looking at this :-) But it is such a beautiful shot of a Chicago street. I must have such flowers you have there. They seem to take the cold very well :)

This looks so cold Brrrrrrrrrrr it makes me shiver. A great winter capture and I am glad that it wasn't taken this year as it seems early to get snow like this in your area, though with climate change nothing surprises me any more. Your filter really accents the black and white and cold. :)

It definitely looks cold, but still there's plenty of life and movement in this shot. It's a lovely scene to view from inside with a hot cup of coffee! Brrrrr. Wonderful composition and leading lines, Mark!

I had to go put on a robe, I got so cold! Of course I'm sitting under an air conditioning vent, so that might be it. :P

I can't decide if I'm looking at snow or just some really good post work. You have a way with high-key work, and the contrast in this is spectacular. It isn't harsh, the blacks don't bleed out, it's just really, really nice contrast and detail. I feel quite fortunate that I've only seen Chicago in September when the weather was perfect. :)
