They wanted this house---in a graphic, bold scheme. (Saturated greens...)
I started out drawing architecture, so I was always happy to use it in a piece.
Details are better zoomed.

An attractive building and a perfect study in near symmetry. As usual, Nature introduces the variants since it follows its own rules unless tamed by humans.

That is such a delightful spring shot. Love the details, the light and the shadows. I wish I were there.... at that time :)

Another great assignment well executed, the green really enhances the beautiful house with its lovely leafy garden. :)

Oooo - I want that house as well...... Man, you nailed the assignment, Mark. The colors just - to use an over-used term - "POP" right off the screen and into my lap. This is lovely!

I like the selective smoothing you've done. I don't know what else to call it ... you've "Mark-ized" the picture. That doesn't exactly flow off the tongue, does it? People used to ask Martin to look at their electronics for them, or their car, or whatever needed fixed. He would inspect the item, and thereafter it would work just fine. He rarely had to fix anything, only look at it. We called that "Martinizing." I know the dry cleaners got to it first, but still ... it worked. Now where was I? Smoothing ... yes. I love the way some areas have been smoothed (or whatever it is you do) and some left alone. It's quite striking, and brings out certain details. It really shows up in full view. Terrific work!
