Description

Metaphors are so convenient. Why reinvent the wheel when we’re all so familiar with it? We know what it is and what it does. With just a dash of imagination it can turn into an orbiting space station, and then, we got a tale to tell… The Prince of Disks is Luke Skywalker, down on the farm before he met Obi Wan. A young and simple farmer with the seed of greatness within. But what exactly was he meant to do? Who was he to begin with? He was the clay vessel that would contain the lighted fire. Healthy muscle, flexing and expanding, developing into the intelligent physique needed to carry out the Great Work ahead. As a farmer he came to see and understand the pattern of life. How it requires thoughtful action to take form plus patience to mature, flourish and bear fruit. Once he realized the nature of the force within him all he needed to do was to remain faithful to his Karma and work through the seasons. Life would progress naturally to its conclusion. He was fearful at first and thought that he wasn’t up to the task, doubting his ability and even his identity. Slowly he came to realize that his actions would define him - for better or worse. He often failed and suffered great losses but the pain stripped away his fear. He focused, opened his heart and felt the joy of self awareness. He found the faith to leap into his true self and became one with The Force. Liberated and Liberator, Prince of Earth and Sky, Luke Skywalker.

You're right, there are only seven basic plots. Star Wars being the 'Overcoming the monster' plot. George Lucas was a genius and wove a great hero story from it.

Interesting, it gives the Prince a tangible personality plus a touch of magic.
