An early morning bike ride in the fog. I was SO happy to hit my favorite coffee shop when I got to the pier; I was COLD!!!

Picking up where I left off, in November...It's impossible for me not to see snow in this: I'm in chicago, and this looks like a real winter scene! But I know that's not snow---it's sand and water (I presume), and fog. You treated it ever so gently, and it feels like a wyeth painting, it's very bleak and very beautiful, and it feels desolate and peaceful and silent. This is a real marilyn photo, because of your daring to cut a photo up like this, and make a world out of a fence, some land and water, and nothing else. Not even sky---which is implied. Eerie (andrea) and vast.
