A lot of my 'desaturated' images are from a series I call "November Light". Just exploring the pristine-cool tones of November.

This is a really superb composition.The pilings converge with the shoreline drawing the eye to the two red stacks which anchors the skyline. Excellent work.

It definitely has that November feel to it, Mark. The light is very cool, and calming in a way.
I'm assuming here, that you were standing on a pier, or in a boat.... Or do you have some other biblical talents you haven't told us about?

LOL @ Rod! :P I know there's a quay or something, but it does look like you're standing on the water! I never get tired of this view, in all its moods. This has a lovely soft quality that I really like. Chicago Dreaming.

It looks like you have put a soft, damped filter over it. It will be your ''November filter"', as I understand well. And it does indeed make the atmosphere as being the 11th month of the year, where you think "where are the colors, do they come back to life again"? Where is the sunshine, or was everything just a sham; was there no summer, no spring. And now? All the plain, flattened, brought to musings, to start over again. (lol, so will do your pc.Mark, as I did see on your cute doggy-birdy upload. An announce for free ;-)) Good luck my friend, and thank you soooo much for all your generous comments, you always surprise me, again and again.
