My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

kudos to Brittany, her 'matching' ties are really quite different; she picked out real variety within the theme. And so are the belts and shoes; the general colors are similar, but I like the differences. (In a few of your groom's party shots, it looks like the shoes are all identical---something I've seen in other weddings. People have moved away from the black tie/black shoes thing, and yet kept the 'matching' idea alive.) This is another of your innate knack for portraiture, whether random or posed. You have a perfect feel for this. Great shots of this couple, great smiles---unforced but very rich---and great matching angled postures, and lined well against that background of posts. And the sunglasses don't feel at all unnatural, they just feel comfortable for them. A caring, loving portrait, Tara, and a loving tribute to their love. You're so good at this. If anyone ever asks me to 'do a wedding', I'll have to study your work. (And you know what? I've seen lots of pro wedding libraries, and yeah, they have the lights and reflectors and all the 'proper' shots, but they often don't have the spirit and love you capture...it's a shame more weddings don't use work like yours...)

Great photo of these two gents, Tara! The ties are a great touch, and the shades compliment them perfectly!

The first thing I saw were the ties. And I thought it was a fashion show. Anyway, I think it has become a particularly relaxing picture, a very handsome couple, and a very clever photographer, of course. Thumb up, Tara!
