My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

A very creative work and you have made the foundations look really interesting. :)

The shadowy figures, the few harsh highlights and the overall soft focus give this a very mysterious if not dystopian look, Superb work on the blending.

A very creative piece of work, Tara - this has a certain dreamy, almost mystical look to it. Wonderful blend of memories.

Excellent, Tara. I wouldnt be able to mix that many images, without getting NOTHING out of it, but you can. I see many layers here. Cobble stones, fence, windows, people etc. But maybe it is because I most often use blend mode and to be honest, I never tried in b/w. Blend mode is mostly about colors. That is why I never used that with black white. But I do have other way to blend. :-) AND I use Paint shop pro 9... an older program, which maybe doesnt have so many new additions. Then it is fine we can get nice filters to help us. BTW! I never found the free Topaz. :(

Outstanding work Tara. God bless.

Amazing and great job! The people and title touched me most. The people make the country, and you have got a lot of persons in the image, and their work represented in the architectural images. Keep up the good work! :-)

(since I skip images, when I want to do all the images I haven't done, I have to go to each image and see if I've commented; and it gets very repetitive; and I want to shout: "Schmendrik! Comment in order next time! You're killing me here!") (You know how I know that I've commented on an image? If I see a response that takes up 3/4 of the page, and goes on and on about one stroke, I've commented. I've actually shouted at the screen: "SHUT THE ___ UP! NOBODY CARES!" Seeing my own comments is a terrifying occurrence...) I understand Helle's thought about blends in black and white: It's really hard. But you got a haunting strange and very suggestive image in black and white. Part of it is the intense light on the people---in a few spots---and the clear sight of a gallery or outdoor art show; and a clear sign "MORGAN", which seeps through (and we don't know what it is or where it comes from); and the angled cobblestones, and a railing, etc...these things give form and shape to the melange, and yet we don't know what they belong to or where they come from. A very inviting quiet magic here. You do blends so well, any time you post them is a treat, since you don't post them very often.
