Description
(Please zoom. And yeah, it's melting linoleum: I couldn't think of a better title!)
Hi everyone.
I'm back for a short visit. I'm getting physical therapy, and it's hard for me to write much. But I'll leave comments for all of you...they just won't be my usual lonnnng ones. (You can breathe easy, lol!) And I can't visit all I've missed, unfortunately, but I'll visit all of you.
Also, I'll post some dedis this month: If they're a little late, I apologize. Just contact Customer Care, and you'll get a full refund. (That joke is really old, and not very funny.)
As Christmas approaches, I wish you all a blessed season, and love and blessing for the coming year.
Love and peace to you all,
Mark
(PS: I'd like to say I got a Nobel Prize in Physics, but I didn't. It was in chemistry. ((Ha ha. As you can see, physical therapy hasn't done a thing for my humor.)) I did get three "Fisherman of the Year" awards, the Booker Prize---which is for something, though I don't know what---and I was elected president of Zimbabwe. But that's all. Also, I was chosen "male model of the year" by a magazine for cats, and last week I spent a day as a small yet succulent grape. Ok, I'm through. My humor's pitiful. I've seen everything you've posted, and I hope you're all well, and I wish you all a wonderful season!)

Lol about all your prizes, your knighthoods, and all your special mentions; for sure you were a grape with seeds, although seedless grapes are now preferred by the consumer. And logically, that you have become the model of the year, thanks to the help of your physiotherapist, haha, then I can too, so you've been messing about, or played cheating. Unfortunately therefore, disqualified, my friend. About your 'melting': I see senses everywhere in this magnificent, ultimately vivid palette of pink cheeks, revolving around each other. The cheeks that you get, after walking in a cold landscape, or maybe after a few hours of skating on a frozen pond. Then you take that atmosphere with you like a versatile pink cloud, in which a kind of victory is the guideline to be able to enjoy. So you can enjoy all your senses, as if in a daze, which you store in the big box of beautiful memories of inner knowing, about how intensely beautiful a winter experience can be.
Of course I wish you many blessings, especially in this time of commemoration, or rather, remembrance, of a very special birth.

outstanding work, Mark. I understand the the impressive importance of all the awards you received. the presenters understand and appreciate the nature of your outstanding work.
may your Christmas be merry and bright. Don't let the Pain/Torture routines get you down.

HAH! I always knew you were dramatically over-qualified.
I particularly like that reddish rat and the clapping hands on the Golden section bottom right.

Fantastic abstract - I love the multi-layered transparency effects. I also get the impression that you've captured the three main states of matter here (solid, liquid, gas). Congratulations on all your well deserved, self-awarded honors & prizes & remember to always wear metal-soled shoes when walking on melting linoleum...

I see mice in this... lots of Christmas Mice, so I will wish you a Merry Christmouse. (see, that's what you call really bad humor) be proud of your accomplishment and awards. hang your awards on a wall, be the best president, ever, and relish the fact grapes are loved by everyone. be well, my friend!

And as the late great Dennis Wolfberg once said, "And a Happy Chaka Khan to you Billy-Bob" (when confronted with Merry Christmas by a southerner.
As for this image, those acid flashbacks can really sneak up on you. Pretty wild and very creative, I can see a landscape covered in ice.
Have you considered voice recognition software to help with your writing? Dragon Software has been around for twenty years and is fairly cheap for the home version.

Always a pleasure to listen to your patter my friend this is a super-sensational image very beautifully done indeed Mark lovely piece!!

Splendid abstract on this one. Looks like layer upon layer of conduits containing an ample supply of bloody plaques as they serpentine across the floor. This is apparently what was left over in the kitchen as you were in the process of renovating your apartment, Mark. As for your awards, you are definitely a Renaissance man, considering the variations of subject matter that you excel in.

This is a bit like what our roads are doing at the moment it has been so hot, the only difference is the color, but the grooves and liquid look the same. I like your pink better. At least our linoleum hasn't started melting yet, touch wood. Congratulations on all the awards you have won. The only one I have was for the first female hop stringer in the hop field I worked in one summer. :) Male model of the year sounds interesting. Your title really suits this interesting and pretty abstract and when I look closely I can see all sorts of things going on. Very well done. I hope you have a very happy Christmas and New Year and that you get a break from all the physio long enough to break loose.!!! :) :) :)

Well, I had wet linoleum a few months ago, but it wasn't this colorful. My language sure was when I discovered it, though!
The colors are delicious here, Mark, and with such a delightful flow - it does look like melting linoleum - or melting something.. LOL
President of Zimbabwe, huh? Well, good! I'm in the running for King of the World, and when I win (I made sure all the competition.....uh.......disappeared), we'll get together and straighten this mess out. Starting with a certain overfed little punk with an affinity for rockets...
Anyway, the Girls and I want to wish you a very blessed Holiday Season, and a rockin' 2018! Take care, buddy!

Beautiful abstract ! I'm thinking about neopolitan ice cream right now for some reason.

Zimbabwe's military finally staged a coup last month and threw Mugabe out. That was for you? Nice job!
I love your melting linoleum. (It reminds me of an old joke. "Are you a musician?" "Oh yes ... my whole life. As I child I played on the linoleum. That's the sort of joke you hear when you're raised by musicians.)
Anyway. The curves, colors, details, mind pictures ... it's all beautiful! I can't for the life of me see Andrea's rat or hands, but I do see a bearded singer (somehow I thought he might be a cantor ... he seems to be wearing a skull cap). There's something architectural about this, with Gaudi-esque balconies going up and up and up ...
Fabulous!

always interesting to read!!!

friendships here are all the award I need. I got one award when I was 14 for the William H. Danforth’s "I Dare You!" book of which I failed. Being "great" allows people to constantly trying to knock your foot stool out from underneath you.
well, I have had some awards here at Renderosity of which I cherish

Love your melted Linoleum, Mark. And your humor is still intact. LOL! Love the colors, the light and the layers :-)
