Description
In memoriam - Siv Johnson
Today I received a letter I was expecting but hoping against all odds to not receive.
My colleague Siv Johnson was a nurse, a teacher of several subjects, a friend and support to students and a wonderful colleague with a sense of humor.
She was a humanitarian. She took care of homeless cats and at one time had 7! She had 5 children and grand children, 2 studying medicine abroad.
She had surgery for cancer in the spring of 2017. Later she was found to have metastases in her liver and lungs. She could not take chemotherapy, and became severely ill. I phoned her every evening. She seemed in good spirits, but when the phone was disconnected I feared the worst. She had 81 very rich years.
Siv will be missed for her loving and tender care directed to both students and colleagues.
Rest in peace, Siv.
